We launched our crowdfunding campaign for survival on 26th June on Campfire, the largest crowdfunding platform in Japan. The campaign ended successfully on 14th August. Thanks to the amazing support of 599 people, we could collect a budget of more than 30 million yen. This budget allows Bauhaus to survive and relocate to a new place.
After months of preparation and construction works, we can now announce that Bauhaus will reopen on Saturday 28th May 2022, after two long years of forced closure. We can’t want to welcome you again in the rock’n’roll hall of fame live in Tokyo Roppongi! Please stay tuned on our social media, this website and our newsletter to be informed of the progress until reopening!
The crowdfunding campaign offered 17 levels of support, from 2.000 to 2.000.000 yen, and exclusive rewards for all supporters, including physical items such as 40th anniversary t-shirts, and and unique experience that supporters will be able to enjoy in our new venue. Experience rewards details will be announced very soon on this page, on social media and by email to crowdfunding supporters.

About Bauhaus
Just in case you landed on this page but don’t know Bauhaus yet…
The Rock’n’Roll Hall of Fame live in Tokyo, since 1981
For 40 years, rock bar and livehouse Bauhaus has been keeping the flame of rock burning in the heart of Roppongi, the vibrant nightlife district of Tokyo. Every night, the professional resident band of Bauhaus has been performing the greatest hits of classic rock, heavy metal and hard rock from the 70s to the 2000s.
Each night offers a unique show built from a catalogue of 200 songs from rock legends such as Queen, Deep Purple, Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin, Bon Jovi, Nirvana or Oasis. Between music sets, the musicians get off the stage and become bartenders. Thanks to its unique rock experience and foreign-friendly atmosphere, Bauhaus is the best rated live music bar in Tokyo on Google Maps and TripAdvisor.
